What kind of work do you do at Sparta Finance?
I’m the financial assistant here at Sparta. My goal is to accommodate our clients’ needs and my fellow Spartans to make their lives one step easier.

Where is your hometown?
Born and raised in beautiful Victoria B.C and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What do you love most about helping others?
How easy it is to make a change. A simple compliment or an enthusiastic conversation with a stranger can go a crazy long way.
What are your top three favourite places and why?
Vancouver Island. My friends and I are big adventure addicts and are constantly looking for new lookouts to whack golf balls off of, share a beer and just vibe at. Luckily we have countless ocean views and mountaintops at our fingertips.
Tempe, AZ. Summer ’21 I got to work in the Phoenix core. We knocked on doors in different neighbourhoods every day for a month. It was an amazing learning experience to see the diversity and differences between our part of the world and their’s.
The Westshore. I’ve lived here all my life and it’s hard to imagine living even as close as downtown. It will always have that homey feeling.
Who is your favourite superhero, hero, character, or person and why?
The bride from Kill Bill. Quentin Tarantino is an insane filmmaker, and his exaggerated, poetic monologues, laced with blood splattered close ups, make the bride one of a kind.
What is your favourite food?
Any meat pizza with peppers and onions!
Outside of your financing profession, what is your passion?
Making mini donuts which I sell on Facebook and at the Goldstream Farmers Market on Saturdays.
What makes you extraordinary?
My ability to always see both sides of the story. Obviously some situations are exempt, but 95% of the time, I can understand why someone may have done the thing they did, even if I don’t agree with it.
